We Found Jed Clampett's "Beverly Hillbillies" Mansion!...DJI Phantom IV Drone Video

We found Jed Clampett's mansion, from The Beverly Hillbillies Television Series, right up in the Bel Aire Section Los Angeles. It was exceedingly hard to find and the roads were very narrow all of the way up to the estate. It is, actually, the Chartwell Estate, and was built in the 1930's. At its time of listing in 2017, it was the most expensive property in America.

The mansion was made famous in the television series which, at one time in the mid 1960's , commanded America's largest television audience. It stared Buddy Ebsen, Irene Ryan, Donna Douglas, and Max Baer, Jr.

The grounds featured the cement pond, the tennis courts, as well as the amazing front lawn, a lawn that Granny actually wanted to plow up and plant in one of the early episodes. Today, the grounds are immaculate and spectacular to see from the air.

We flew the drone, a DJI Phantom IV, with a dedicated controller. It performed beautifully and captured wonderful 4 K video footage. Thanks for watching!
